Winter Park is a town located in Grand County, Colorado. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 662, although tourists and seasonal workers significantly increase the population.
It is home to the Winter Park Resort, a well-known ski resort which is owned by the city of Denver. The town and resort are served by the Ski Train of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad (D&RGW).

Mammoth has more than 3,500 acres (14 km²) of skiable terrain, serviced by 17 lifts (including 3 gondolas). The area has 3100 feet (940 m) of vertical, rising to an elevation of 11,053 feet (3,368 m). The top of the mountain has challenging chutes and open mogul runs.

Temple Mountain Ski Area Temple Mountain Ski Area was a downhill, or Alpine, ski area in southern New Hampshire, United States, that operated from 1938 until 2001, when, like many other small ski areas in the country, it closed due to bad weather and rising costs.
Its owners sold its chairlifts in 2004, making it all but certain that it will never operate again.
Aspen Mountain (Ski Area) Aspen Mountain (often called by its former name of Ajax among locals) is a ski area located in Pitkin County, Colorado just outside and above the town of Aspen. It is situated on the north flank of Aspen Mountain (for which it is named) and the higher Bell Mountain (elevation 11,212 ft/3418 m) just to the south of Aspen Mountain. It was founded in 1946 as the first ski area venture of the Aspen Skiing Company founded by Walter Paepcke, and today it is one of four adjacent ski areas operated by the company as part of the Aspen/Snowmass complex. At only 673 acres/273 hectares, it is somewhat small compared to other ski areas, especially compared to the much larger nearby Snowmass ski area, and retains a unique cultural flavor that hearkens to the earlier days of recreational skiing in the state. The ski area is located within the White River National Forest and is operated under permit from the United States Forest Service.
